Artist's Description

A young couple have wed and are leaving the dark, formal interior of the church and stepping into the bright, unpredictable outside world. Family and friends watch, and the maid of honor fusses with the bride's train. As is the custom in this Central American country, the women are on one side of the church, and the men are on the other.
